I guess that sums up the definitive difference between Yankee and Red Sox fans. Yankee fans only care about the Yankees winning. Who else wins or is hot or not, is of no consequence. Anyway, I was disappointed in both the Yankees and Red Sox performance in the play offs. There is nothing like a Yankee-Sox play off series and we were all deprived this year. Like baseball fans everywhere (even in Boston), we will all just "wait till next year" Will – I knew sooner or later it would come down to “its all right if we don’t win, the Yankees lost too”.
