Enjoyable story. A great adaptation of the classic Cold War espionage drama converted to it’s modern equivalent wrapped in terrorism and the Middle East. The hero, John Wells, is virtually a super-human soldier/CIA operative deep under cover in Afghanistan. After years of work penetrating Al-Qaeda, he finds himself defending American soil against a nasty terrorist campaign while questioning where his allegiances lie. Both Al-Qaeda and the CIA are suspicious of him.

Typically preposterous, but totally enjoyable. Lots of action, intrigue and a bit of romance. Nice balance.
