Grumby

Grumby

You can view this book's Amazon detail page here.

Grumby is a relatively short, fun story about a fictional Silicon Valley startup that goes from nothing to huge and back to nothing. Every character, action an event is an exaggeration of the stuff that happens to high-tech startups almost every day. While it’s not a laugh out loud funny kind of book, it’s very humorous and in the wild world of startups these days, almost believable.

While the book would probably be enjoyed by almost everyone, I think the more you know about startups, Silicon Valley and high-tech, in general, the more the reader would enjoy it. Wen you have real life analogies to relate to, it’s just that much more interesting.

I don’t think I’d recommend knocking down an old lady at Barnes & Noble to get a copy, but if you’re looking for a fun, quick read, it’s a good candidate.
