Sandy Koufax: A Lefty’s Legacy

Sandy Koufax: A Lefty’s Legacy

Well written. Koufax was a fantastic baseball player who played during a time when the game was changing rapidly. When he pitched for the Dodgers, he and Don Drysdale kept the team in the hunt. He had no hitting and he routinely pitched complete games on short cycles. Ultimately, it made for a short, but brilliant career.

If he pitched today, he would have had even more impact on the game.

Terrific read if you’re a baseball or sports fan.
