I have read a few other of Vince Flynn’s Mitch Rapp series before and enjoyed them all (http://bit.ly/e4lGfR). Mitch Rapp doesn’t fall into the troubled, ex-CIA assassin, only killing bad guys bucket precisely, but he’s close enough. In fact Rapp is kinda cool in that he really likes his job. Of course, he’s almost perfect at it.

I may have enjoyed this book more than any of the rest of them because it starts at the beginning. How Rapp is selected, how he is trained and how many of the characters in the previous books all came into his life. The story itself is engaging, although it ends a little flat.

Great read that requires little thought – totally about entertainment value. Hard to put down at times because the story is so engaging. A lot of fun.
